A happy & healthy stomach keeps you efficient and focused. If you’re having stomach troubles such as constipation, gas or just binged too much at that brunch with friends, here are some home remedies to get your digestive system back on track.
Have a glass of hot milk with a teaspoon of clarified butter at bedtime or drink a glass of boiled water with one teaspoon of flax seeds.
Consume a cup of water with a pinch of baking soda & lemon juice.
3. Nausea & Vomiting
Chew ½ teaspoon of celery seeds and drink 1 cup of warm water.
4. Removal of Intestinal Worms
Take a mixture of ¼ teaspoon of celery seeds and ½ teaspoon vidanga thrice a day after meals for 2 weeks.
5. Heat-Related Exhaustion
Consume a glass of coconut water or grape juice. Alternatively, you can churn out a juice of three dates, with eight ounces of water and drink it up.
Squeeze half a lemon in a cup of warm water and add a pinch of baking soda – drink it up. Or, roast fennel and coriander seeds – one teaspoon each – with a pinch of salt.
7. Lack of Appetite
Chew a thin slice of fresh ginger with a pinch of salt, 10 minutes before meals.
8. Diarrhoea & Abdominal Pain
Apply a little fresh ginger juice around the belly button.
